The Challenge

Located in a beautiful 18th century house in eight acres of lush West Sussex countryside, Simply Healing is an exclusive, internationally renowned, residential juice detox retreat and holistic healing centre. They offer various juice detox retreat packages, and a large selection of treatments and therapies for the body and mind. They are credited as ‘Best of the Best’ on TripAdvisor (an international selection of the world’s best detox retreats), and included in Vogue’s list of recommended detox retreats.

Having worked with Simply Healing for a number of years, developing their current brand identity and the creation and management of their previous website, they required a new website to be created that would look fresh and modern to existing customers, integrate their expanding social media channels, include a CMS and blog, and present themselves to the highest standard.

The Result

Following a professional photo shoot of the property, and reviewing the requirements the client had requested, I designed and developed the UI for all page templates, page content and integrations.

The website was developed with a bespoke template using WordPress and Divi, which allowed for easy management of the site content. A bespoke PHP diary admin was also developed, so the client could list out each detox plan via an easy to use interface, and this was then integrated on each detox plan page – showing the next available dates customers could book. And once the new photos were added, the new site performed excellently for the client and was well received by their existing clientele.
